EMA

Today's EMA will be part of our Teams session. If you are unable to make this or you would like to have another look at it, the EMA activity (and answers) are included in the maths PowerPoint uploaded at the bottom of the page and on Seesaw.

Nessy

If you usually go onto Nessy at school during EMA, please make sure you are doing this at home too. Please aim to spend between 20 and 30 minutes on Nessy every day. Please let me know if you have not received your log in details.

Maths (1 hour)

Please join us for a live Microsoft Teams lesson at 9:00am.

Today we are continuing to use a number line to divide. We will be looking at remainders today.

If you were unable to join the Teams session, please begin the lesson by watching THIS video to explain what remainders are.

Then, please watch THIS video to show how we can use number line method, which we have been using this week, to divide when the problem does not have a whole answer.

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

Next, please work through the maths PowerPoint uploaded at the bottom of the page. Please work through the PowerPoint and complete all the activities before moving on to the maths tasks. Please choose one task (*, ** or ***) that you feel suits your level.

Please upload your responses to the maths task on Seesaw. Thank you.

Please join us for a live Microsoft Teams input at 10:30am.

The PowerPoint and the activities are uploaded below so you can have another look at these after the session if you would like to.

You will need to read our class text again, before starting today's activity. You can listen to the story by clicking on the book cover.

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

There is a * task and a ** task on today's PowerPoint. Please choose the level that you feel is right for you. I will talk through this in our Teams lesson. If you are unable to join us on Teams, please visit the PowerPoint uploaded below for the different activities.

Today, you will need your non-chronological report that we have been writing in English. You should have edited and improved your writing in yesterday's English lesson.

Please start the lesson by working through the PowerPoint at the bottom of the page. If you watch the presentation, you should be able to click on the sound buttons to hear my instructions.

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

Task

Today, you are going to try typing up some of your non-chronological report.

Don’t worry about typing up all of your paragraphs today. We will type up some of our reports and we will continuing in our next computing lesson. If you are able to, please save your work so we can continue in our next computing lesson.

If you do not have Microsoft Word, you can type up your non-chronological report on Seesaw using the note response. Please let me know if you are unable to find this on Seesaw. If you have another program on your device such as Pages or Notepad which you wish to use, please ask an adult first.
