‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Thursday 4th June

Lola was not a fan of walking in the rain yesterday but we still grabbed an umbrella and managed to dodge the rain showers to get our exercise.

There were some fantastic ideas about whether the Iceni tribe should fight the Romans yesterday. Great work.

Maths

We are going to spend a little bit more time on adding and subtracting fractions before we move on. I would like you to work through the My Maths lesson and then have a go at the homework. Remember, you can have a look at the lesson whenever you want to when doing any My Maths homework.

Following on from our P4C session yesterday, you are going to be thinking about what Boudicca could have said to persuade those members of the Iceni tribe who weren't sure about joining her rebellion against the Romans. I have uploaded a help sheet with a word bank and possible sentence starters to help you write Boudicca's speech to her tribe. You might like to look back at some of the information from previous days to help you.

You are going to have today and tomorrow to work on your Boudicca speech so it might be a good idea to plan and make some notes today and then write and edit your speech tomorrow.
