Week Beginning 20/4/20
Welcome to the summer term in Year 3! This is your final term in Year 3. It will be a bit different than usual but we are going to make the most of it. I hope that you have managed to enjoy the Easter holidays and go outside to enjoy the lovely weather we have had.
Thank you to all of you who have sent in photos of what you have been up to or commented on the blogs or discussions that I have set up. It is great to hear from you.
I will continue to be uploading work for you here on our school website. Work through as much as you can and try your best.
We will be making a start on our new topic which is based on The Roman Empire and its impact on Britain.
History
What do you already know about the Romans? Do you know of anything that they are famous for?
Try this link which will help you understand the skills needed to be a historian.

Computing
Remind yourself of the video that we watched on Safer Internet Day about Alfie and his friends forming a band. Watch episode 1 again and think about these questions.
*What different things do Sam, Ellie and Alfie do online?
*What problem did Alfie face at the beginning?
*How did the gamer make Alfie feel?
*What did Alfie do when he realised something wasn't right?
*What happened when Selfie's video was made public?

Spellings
For this weeks spellings I would like you to focus on the Year 3/4 spellings words. Remember that you don't need to practise them all at once, just take 3-4 at a time. I have uploaded some handwriting sheets that you can use to help you.
PE
ASM have lots of videos that you can use to help stay fit and healthy. Why not try some out? There are lots of different activities to choose from. Remember to ask your adult first.
