‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Week Beginning 8/6/20

Welcome to a brand new week. We are going to be trying Seesaw this week. You can respond to the activities using Seesaw by adding comments or photos for example. Well done if you have already managed to log on.

Thank you Grace, Ava and Francesca I really enjoyed playing your game on Purple Mash.

History/Art

We have been thinking about the Roman army, so I would like you to design your own Roman shield. Take a look at examples of shields from the Roman period and consider what patterns and colours would be good for your shield.

PSHCE

I have a lovely activity for you to do which I find really useful. It is to create a hapiness jar. You can use any kind of container. Think of something that makes you happy, write it on a piece of paper and put it inside the jar. Think of as many things as you can. You can decorate your hapiness jar however you want. Whenever you are feeling sad or just a bit down, because we all feel like that at times and that's ok, you can read the notes to remind you of happy times.

There was a special NSPCC assembly on Friday. I have put a link to the video for you. You may notice some familiar faces! We have had a visit from Buddy at school. Make sure you ask your adult and Stay Safe.

I have have added an activity on this page that you might like to have a go at. It is 50 things to do before you are 11 and 3/4. I think this may have been mentioned in an assembly in the past. See how many of the activities you can already tick off and then have a go at some of the ones you haven't yet (as long as it is safe to do so).
