Geography project March 23 to  April 17 I have set up a blog for your castles, capitals and countries of the UK research.

Castles of the UK capitals. Over the next four weeks find out about the castles in the capital cities of the four countries of the UK. England, London. Wales, Cardiff. Scotland, Edinburgh. Northern Ireland, Belfast.

What is the country? What is the capital city? Where is the castle in the city? (clue= whereabouts in the city? Or outside the city? On top of a volcano?) What type of city is it? (clue= concentric, motte and bailey) Explain the facts that you find. Draw and print pictures of the castles. Find the castles on Google maps. Drop the yellow person in to get a 'real' look at the castle.

**Castle Project support** https://www.hrp.org.uk/tower-of-london/#gs.1ngoni

Use this link to find out about the Tower of London. You could learn about the Yeoman Warders, the crown Jewels or the ravens. Maybe find the Tower of London on Google maps. Drop the yellow person onto a River Thames boat for a river cruise. Keep clicking the arrow to move along the river.

Well done to everyone who has been using Prodigy. The leader board for last week (March 30 - April 5) looks like this:

gold - Fenna   silver - Thomas   bronze -  Joel              Very well done to these three children and to everyone who logged in this week.

If you haven't logged in yet please do. I am enjoying watching your progress.
