First Aid Training Week - wc 19th October 2015

Monday 19th October

On Monday the year 6 pupils have completed a course in Emergency First Aid. They had a fantastic day learning how to help somebody if they are choking, learning to administer CPR, how to put somebody into the recovery position and what needs to be in a first aid kit.

"I think I learnt alot about how to save someone if they are in trouble. Now if I saw someone choking I could help and possibly save them" Kim

"I learnt alot in my first aid training, he explained things it was fun but it was very serious. This will help in everyday life to some people" Katie

"It was very good because we got shown how to perform CPR and to prevent someone from choking. The instructor also taught us how to stop blood from spreading across the hand. Overall I thought that it was really good and I would rate it 10/10" Matthew

"I learnt how to save someones life when they are choking or not. It is very useful if it happens in real life" Ellie Mae

" I really liked the first aid training because I want to be a paramedic when I'm older. My favourite part was when we learnt how to recoversomeone if they had fainted" Eve

"I enjoyed learning about saving people lives and about how serious it was" Molly
