Sports Week - Thursday 2nd July

Lesson: Physical education

This morning we had an assembly led by Rich Parker, a British professional vert skater. He started skating when he was ten years old in 1997 and turned professional in 2004. Parker has attended many competitions in his vert skating career. The assembly was very inspirational for all the children and was followed by the sponsored event run by Sports For All.

Today the children enjoyed the following exciting activities:

 - Athletics, delivered by Steph Moore from ACT, to the children in Reception, Year 1, 2, 4 and 6.

 - Karate, delivered by BSTK Alsager, to the children in Year 1, 2, 3 and 5.

 - Children's Zumba, delivered by Mrs Clements, for the children in Years 3, 5 and 6.

 - Yoga, delivered by Mr Cotterill, to the Reception class.
