Maths: Oak National Academy -Investigating number combinations to 20

 

  • In this lesson children will share in different ways - how can you share equally and unequally? What do you notice about the number combinations?

Think of a sentence - a trip to the zoo

 

  • You need to look at the pictures in the file below about a visit to the zoo.

 

  • Show your child each picture and talk about what they can see.

 

  • Encourage your child to complete the sentence. You might need to think of a sentnce first and then they think of one.

 

  • Try and do a few sentences. Encourage your child to write one of their sentences on paper.
