Task: Recap 6-figure grid references

• Use the printout of the Map of Local Area. A version of this was included in one of the previous learning packs.
• If you did the previous grid reference session, this will be a good opportunity to recap.
• Watch the video here, where Steve Backshall explains how to take 6-figure grid references.
• Starting from one of the dashed green lines nearest to Excalibur, plot a route which has six checkpoints.
• Either write your grid references on the Grid Reference Template or in your red home learning books - you don't need to print anything.

Note: the grid references could be done on the computer without printing the map. Please let me know if you would like a printed version and I will get one to you.
