English

This week, we are going to be completing our work on news reports! The final outcome is that you will be writing and performing your own news report about an earthquake of your choice!

Today we are going to watch a clip with advice from a news presenter on writing the perfect script! This will give you some good tips. Here is the clip we will be watching.

I have also included a WAGOLL for a news report script at the bottom of the page for you to refer to.

You are then going to be writing your own script!

Join me for the Teams meeting at 10:40am!

Don't forget to upload your work to Seesaw under "English Task"

Computing

Similarly to last week, you are going to be honing your skills in coding- especially with using variables.

The focus will again be using the code blocks “if”.

Use your login for Code for life and, on Rapid Router, have a go at levels 33-43.

If you manage to complete these levels, feel free to challenge yourself and move onto the next stage!

Here is the link for Code for life.

See how many you can complete in 45 mins- 1 hour.

Try and work as efficiently as possible and use the least amount of blocks you can- this will get you the most points!

These levels are quite tricky so feel free to come onto Teams at 2pm where I can offer you some support!

Let me know what level you get up to on Seesaw on “Computing task”

PSHCE

This week, you are going to consolidate all your learning on rights and responsibilities!

Find today’s lesson on this link “I have rights

Upload anything you do to Seesaw under “PSHCE task”

I will be on Teams at 2pm if anyone needs any help!
