Today we  are going to be working out fractions of sets of objects. Watch the videos pausing when they ask you to. I have uploaded the questions and answers to go with both videos. Make sure you use the correct questions for the right video!

I have (hopefully) set an assignment about fractions for you to do throughout the week when you go onto Prodigy. This is the first time I have done this so I am hoping that it works!

English

Our English work this week is based around the myth Icarus. You may or may not have heard of this Greek myth. Please read the story using the powerpoint. We are going to be retelling the part of the story where Icarus takes flight. Use the blank word bank to collect words that you think will help you to do this. Think about how he might have felt, what he was doing as well as descriptive words. If you fancy a challenge see if you can come up with similes that you could include in your writing.
