Well done for working so hard this week, keep up the great work!

Remember to join for phonics at your usual time!

English lesson 5

Today, we continue our series of lessons based on ‘The Old Toy Room’.

We will use our ideas from the last few days to create a piece of descriptive writing about the messy playroom.

Watch the video, at the bottom of the page to find out how to write the introduction for our piece of descriptive writing.

You will then need to include your 3 extented sentences from yesterday.

Below are some examples:

In the corner of the room, two soft ragdolls sat on a wooden chair.

Under the bed, an old, brown teddy lay amongst the fluff.

Inside the wooden toybox, a colourful beach ball waited to be bounced.

On the new roadway mat, a red, metal car waited to be raced along.

There is also some special bordered paper attached (if you have a printer).

I look forward to reading your response on Seesaw.

It's Friday, that means it's time for our weekly spelling check.

You can watch the video below or you can ask your adult to read the words out.

Remember you can share your score on Seesaw if you like.

Today, watch the White Rose Video and complete the attached activity.

Warm up with…
