Message to Year 6 - No. 33

Good morning, Year 6. I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend - the weather has been almost back to its best so I hope you've been making the most of the great outdoors.

This week, home learning continues as usual. Please let me know if you would like any help or support with anything.

With this week scheduled to be Sports Week, I have included an additional tab for each day. This Sports Showcase aims to celebrate all things great about sport, with a particular focus on the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Each day's showcase includes five sections: Iconic Moments, showcasing some of the great sporting performances; Quick Guides, which include YouTube clips about less well-known Olympic and Paralympic sports; Olympic and Paralympic History, where you can explore the history of the Games; Local Club Links showcases the various clubs in Alsager and the surrounding area; and Sports-Themed Activity contains activities, linked with an Olympic or Paralympic sport, which you can try at home.

If you would like to contribute anything to the Sports Showcase, such as information about local clubs of which you are part, please let me know.
