Message to Year 6 - No. 40

Good morning, Year 6. Many thanks to those of you who got in touch via Seesaw yesterday - it was great to hear what you have been up to over half term and to see the tasks which you had completed.

There are several ways in which you can respond to tasks on Seesaw. The Seesaw Tutorial page contains a link to a YouTube video which talks you through how to make the most of the system. Please let me know if you have any questions or queries.

For English today, I have set the task of completing your very own film review and have included my own example following my recent rewatch of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. You also have the option of writing an essay-style piece instead, based on a film topic of your choice. Keeping with the theme of the Wizarding World, JK Rowling recently announced the release of a new children's book, entitled the Ickabog. The author is releasing new chapters each day - there are currently eleven chapters to enjoy. The Ickabog can be read here.
