Welcome Year 4!

We are already nearly halfway through our first week back! Well done! I hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather we have been having recently. 

Don't forget I have uploaded some activities for other subjects HERE on the page titled 'Week Beginning 20th April'. You can work through this throughout the week. There are lots of activities here so keep trying your best and do what you can.  

Thank you to everybody who has sent in photos, videos or work that you have completed and also to those who have commented on our blog. I have really enjoyed hearing from you.

Maths

You may want to start with Prodigy today. No more than 20 minutes please. Keep trying your best, I can't wait to see who will be on this weeks leaderboard.  

Please complete the 'Fraction and Decimal Equivalents' lesson on Mymaths.

If you have any outstanding homework on MyMaths, you could also spend some time today making sure that these are completed. If these are completed, log onto Times Table Rockstars HERE to keep practising your tables. 

English 

BBC Bitesize have uploaded some daily lessons this week. They look really good! Today, we are going to start to write some sentences for our workhouse description. Remember to read the first two pages of our class text. You can find the video HERE.

Have a go at the 'Writing Expanded Noun Phrases' lesson (which you can go to HERE) and work through the lesson. 

After this, you may want to start writing some of your own workhouse description sentences.

Spelling

This weeks spellings have been uploaded at the bottom of this page HERE. 

I have uploaded a wordsearch and a handwriting page which you may want to complete. Be careful as both of these activities help with the spelling pattern. There may be words used in these that are not your spelling words.
