World Book Day 2022

On Thursday 3rd March, Excalibur Primary School celebrated World Book Day in style. Children were given the option to come into school dressed as a book character. As you can see from the photographs below, the result was brilliant! Throughout the day, the children took part in a variety of activities in their classes, including artwork linked with Rhythm of the Rain and Harry Potter. Children across the school also brought in a rock or pebble which they had decorated with an image linked with a book of their choice. These rocks then adorned the corridors for the rest of the week. They look truly wonderful!

Many thanks to everyone for making World Book Day so enjoyable - it was a delight to see the children enjoying reading and all the fun that goes with it.
